Can you tell me a little about this? It's 100 goals in 1000 days?
Carla M. Leecarlamlee on August 11th, 2017 01:39 am (UTC)
Of course! It's a goal list/resolution/push yourself to be better combo thing, and it first started here, I think. Basically, you create a list of big things (or not so big) that you want to do in the next 1001 days, and then you see how many you can get done. (There are sometime also challenges that you pay a certain amount of money to charity for the ones you miss, but I don't do that because I have monthly donations going out already.)

The things you put on your list can be broad or very specific, and I have a ton of fun seeing other people's lists. I also had a great experience the first time I did it, which was during law school. (I completely forgot I was doing it the second time.) I hope to have good success the third time.)

I use it in conjunction with my master to do list, writing career list, Google calendar, and physical planner, and I think a lot of what I will put on it will be things to do to have fun more than anything else, but we will see.

That's so neat. I have a 100 in 10 years list, but I'd never seen one for 1001 days before. It certainly would make you sit up and take notice over your opportunities.

I'd be interested in seeing some of your 100 in 10 years list, if you ever share it.

I'll do a little post for it, maybe, or add it to the end of my 1001 days one if I do it. It's mainly practical stuff, but some stuff that's outrageous and that I'll probably never do. Like I WANT to pet a tiger and I put that on my list, but I also feel conflicted because anyone who's keeping tigers should not be letting ANYONE touch them except for the vet when they're sedated. You know?
Carla M. Leecarlamlee on August 13th, 2017 05:05 am (UTC)
That would be awesome!

And yeah, I have some things I'd love to do which are also conflicting like that.
